A Greek Night On The Town

We will start our evening by discovering the Plaka and Thession/Psirri areas. Then we'll visit Haritos Street near Kolonaki to bar hop and rub shoulders with Athens sophisticated arty set. We won't plan on dining until after 10 pm just like the locals, and then if we have any energy left we'll dance at one of the many hotspots. What a fun evening!

As part of our CANNES Shore Trip! Our adventure begins in Eze, a charming medieval village perched on the top of the mountain, rising high above the sea to give you a fantastic view. Eze is home to a famous glass work shop, as well as one of the branches of the renowned Fragonard perfumerie. Here we will get a guided visit of the factory, as well as a chance to shop at the factory store. Next, continue on to La Turbie, a 1st century BC Roman village well-known as the "Terrace" of Monaco, due to the splendid view it affords of the Principality. After La Turbie, you will be taken to what is known as the "Trophy" of the alps: a Roman monument built in 7 BC by Emperor Octave Auguste, on the Roman road that connected Italy to Cimiez. Now referred to as "The Roman Area of Nice," this is a sight that you don't want to miss. Now head to Monte Carlo and The Golden Square where the famous Hotel de Paris, the Casino, the beautiful gardens, and the luxury shops are located. This will be followed by a city tour, where we will be treated to an exploration of the old town on "The Rock": the Prince's Palace with the changing of the guard, the Cathedral, and the Princess Grace Memorial. Finish with a drive around the Grand Prix circuit!!!! SO FUN

In Nice, you can see the market and try the famous socca (a delicious brick-oven-baked pancake of chickpea flour and olive oil), or visit the Chagall and Matisse museums.

On this excursion, we explore two underground subjects, caves and pearls!! Located inside the Drach Caves are a number of lakes. We'll enjoy a boat ride on the largest, Lake Martel. We will then make a stop to see Mallorca's famous pearl production. Pearls have given the island a worldwide reputation as a purveyor of beautiful and high quality jewelry. Several Mallorcan companies produce man-made pearls and have perfected the process to the level that their best imitation pearls can only be distinguished from natural ones by experts.
