We met in January 2009 at a Bridal Show at the L.A. Convention Center.

It was meant to be.....

We both worked at our booths acrross from each other and it took me forever, it seemed, to catch Chad's attention. At some point he literally backed in to me and when my nose touched his back I just said "You should just come a little closer...." Chad turned around, looked at our travel banners and asked me straight out if I would travel to somewhere far away with him.... that broke the ice.

Over the next few days we spent hours on the phone talking before we actually went on our first date four days later. And from then on it's been an incredible journey full of love and happiness....

We got engaged on Christmas Day during the traditional Heede Holiday vacation on a little Danish island called Fanø. Chad had the whole family involved and suprised me on the island's highest viewpoint overlooking the North Sea with beautiful sunshine on a gorgeous winter day.

Now we cannot wait to start our new life as a married couple!

Wir haben uns im Januar 2009 auf einer Hochzeitsmesse im L.A. Convention Center kennen gelernt.

Es war wie vorbestimmt....

Wir arbeiteten an gegenueberliegenden Messestaenden und es hat unendlich gedauert, bis ich Chad's Aufmerksamkeit erhaschte. Nach einiger Zeit ist er mir regelrecht rueckwaerts auf die Fuesse getreten und als ich sagte "du kannst ruhig noch etwas naeher kommen..." drehte Chad sich erschrocken um, starrte auf unsere Reiseplakate und fragte mich stotternd ob ich mit ihm verreisen wuerde.... da war das Eis gebrochen.

Die naechsten Tage haben wir Stunden am Telefon verbracht bevor wir uns nach ein paar Tagen zum ersten "Date" verabredeten. Von da an war es eine traumhafte Reise voller Glueck und Liebe.

Wir haben uns am Weihnachtstag verlobt waehrend des traditionellen Heede-Weihnachtsurlaubs auf der daenischen Insel Fanø. Es war ein wunderschoener Tag mit strahlendem Sonnenschein. Chad hatte die ganze Familie eingeweiht und ueberraschte mich mit seinem Heiratsantrag auf Fano's hoechstem Aussichtpunkt mit Blick auf die Nordsee. Diesen Moment haette ich mir in meinen Traeumen nicht schoener vorstellen koennen.

Wir koennen es kaum mehr abwarten, endlich ins gemeinsame Eheleben zu starten!

Our wedding will be taking place at the Jonathan Beach Club in Santa Monica.

If the weather allows, we are planning on a beach ceremony....to feel the sand between our toes, the sunlight in our faces and the ocean breeze blowing around our nose while starting our journey as a married couple.

For your own comfort, please bring a jacket as well as a pair of flip flops in order to avoid ruining your shoes before the reception.

After the ceremony we will go inside for reception, dinner and dancing to celebrate this very special day with all of you!!

Wenn es das Wetter zulaesst planen wir unsere Traumhochzeit am Strand....mit Sand zwischen den Zehen, warmer Abendsonne im Gesichtern und frischer Meeresluft um die Nase wehend, wenn wir den Schritt ins gemeinsame Eheleben gehen. 

Fuer Eurer Wohlbefinden, bitte bring eine Jack mit sowie ein Paar Flip Flopps, damit ihr Euch Eure Abendschuhe nicht gleich ruiniert.

Nach der Zeremonie werden wir zum Abendessen in die Festraeume des Strandclubs ziehen und diesen ganz besonderen Tag mit Euch feiern!
